Microstrain distribution near the boundaries of nonmetallic inclusions

Microstrains were measured on a flat alloy 35KhN3MF specimen using photographically superposed small-base scaling grids. The base of the grid 0.01 mm corresponds to the characteristic grain size, and the specimen deformation is 10.2%. The field of micro-strains was examined in the zone of three inclusions located in segments with local longitudinal strains e=10, 18, and 28%; the measured masses were 400, 196, and 144 cells, respectively. The measurements were conducted under an NU2 microscope with a type MOB-1-15 micrometric probe with a magnification of ×100
