SCHOOL EDUCATION AND MST: REFLECTIONS ON HIGH SCHOOL AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION LA EDUCACIÓN ESCOLAR Y EL MST: REFLEXIONES SOBRE LA ENSEÑANZA SECUNDARIA Y LA

The MST has struggled, debated and organized the scholling of the high school and professional education in the field due to the presence of young people in the settlements and the academic level deficit's in the Brazilian countryside. The strugle is for a formation that provides access to knowledge, politics education and professional graduation. This essay discusses some issues analized in two studies that addressed three experiences linked to the MST experience within the high school and professional education: Integrated Course in Technical Agroecology; High School Education and Training Course for Teachers of Early Childhood Education and the Early Years of Elementary Education of the Colegio Estadual Iraci Salete Strozak. Considering the youth in the current context, including the settlements related to MST, we analized critically the limits and the possibilities of schooling contributing to an emancipatory education, recognizing its contribution to the struggle of the working class for the capitalism overcoming.
