Keanekaragaman Tumbuhan Penutup Tanah Di Kawasan Air Terjun Takapala dan Air Terjun Lanna Kabupaten Gowa

Research about diversity and composition of ground cover plant in the Takapala and Lanna waterfall areas in the Gowa regency have been done in December 2016 – January 2017 with the aim of the research was to know the composition and spesies diversity of plant cover in two location there are Takapala water fall area and Lanna water fall area. Research conducted using quadrat (combination of plots and transects) in two different stations for each, every station is installed two transects with a length of 50 meters each, and transects placed 10 plot sampling. Diversity parameters include the number of species and the number of each species, while the parameters of the community structure include the values of density, frequency, dominace, key value index, diversity index, community similarity index. The results showed that plant cover vegetation in Lanna water fall area and Takapala water fall area consist of 2 divisio, 3 classis, 18 ordo, 22 familia, 42 genus, dan 42 spesies and, there are 22 familia and 28 spesies in Lanna while, in Takapala terdapat 12 familia dan 24 spesies. Data analysis showed that diversity index 1,775-2.149 (medium criterion); uniformity index 0,525-0,543 (medium criterion); dominance index 0,236-0,151 (low criterion); dispersion 2,09-20,00 (generally clumped); community similarity index 0.91%-18.76% (community not same)
