Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva is a rare hereditary disorder of connective tissue characterized by congenital malformations of the great toes and by progressive heterotopic ossification of soft tissues in spesific anatomic patterns In this article we present a 6 year old girl with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva and review clinical radiographic and genetic manifestations of this rare disorder Key words: Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva heterotopic ossification microdactily hallux valgus
