The Effectiveness of Using Dalton's Method on the Educational Achievements of the Basketball Course of the Female Students of the Faculty of Physical Education, Assiut University

This research aims to identify the effect of Dalton's method on the educational achievements of the basketball course of the female students of the faculty of Physical Education Assiut University. The researcher used the empirical method and he chose a sample of the second year's female students in 2009/2010. The number of the students was 60 students and the researcher divided them into two groups; the first group (empirical group) included 30 students and the second group (control group) contained the other 30 students. The researcher used the test of the educational achievements which he designed as one of the tools of collecting data. The test consists of five dimensions and contains 45 statements. The validity of the test reached 86.66% as it was governed by a lot of scientific rules. The researcher applied 8 units using Dalton's method which was proposed to be applied on one of the two groups, after presenting it to the professionals and taking their opinions, as the approval percentage reached from 85.71% to 100%. The most important result was discovering a lot of significant differences between the two groups in favor of the empirical group. The researcher concludes that the reason behind such differences is due to the effect of Dalton's method on the educational achievements of the basketball course of the female students of the faculty of Physical Education Assiut University in order to increase the quality of the educational process.
