The invention discloses an orthogonal turn-milling wide line processing method. The orthogonal turn-milling wide line processing method comprises the following steps of: (1) respectively initializing the serial number and the u-direction coordinate of a tool contact locus; (2) getting the tool contact locus; (3) dispersing the tool contact locus into a plurality of sampling points, calculating the optimal processing line width, determining eccentric distance values corresponding to all the sampling points under the line width, and constructing a function relation between the two; (4) dispersing the tool contact locus into a plurality of tool contact points, getting the eccentric distances corresponding to all the tool contact points and further getting a processing locus corresponding to the tool contact locus; (5) determining the next tool contact locus according to the tool contact locus and the optimal processing line width corresponding to the tool contact locus; and (6) repeating the steps (2)-(5), further getting a next tool position locus and the next tool contact locus and executing in a circulating manner till the produced tool position locus traverses the whole curved surface. According to the orthogonal turn-milling wide line processing method disclosed by the invention, by performing optimal selection on the eccentric distances during the processing process, the cutting line width is increased and the uniform distribution of the residual height at the conjunction of the processing locus is realized.
