This study aims to determine the extent to which the Use of PT Indonesia Power
Suralaya internal media to obtain work safety and healt (k3) message by
emoloyees So there is no Work Accident.
This research was conducted at PT. Indonesia Power Suralaya with Population is
all employees of PT. Indonesia Power Suralaya numbered 722 people and the
sample amounted to 78 people. This research started from July 2017 until
October 2017. The research method used is quantitative method with survey
approach, with research instrument that is questionnaire, compiled by researcher
and has been tested to measure the validity and reliability of instrument.
Measurement of instrument validity using product moment correlation and
pearson, while reliability test using spearman brown formula. Analysis of
research data used is descriptive analysis percentage of Likert scale. All data
processing is done with the help of SPSS for Windows program.
The results of this study can be concluded that in terms of dimensions of Audience
Coverage (Audience Coverage) with a score of 100% can be concluded that PT.
Indonesia Power Suralaya 100% succeeded in reaching all employees of the
company according to the target and target desired by the company in delivering
corporate message through Company Internal Media about worker safety and
health to fulfill their information requirement. In terms of response of the reader
(Audience Response) which amounted to 81.79% can be concluded that the
responses of respondents to the company's internal media is very effective. In
terms of knowledge of the media (Communication Impact) which amounted to
81.44% can be concluded that the knowledge of respondents to internal media
companies about the delivery of messages Safety and Work Accidents (K3) is very
effective. In terms of the Influence of Media (Process of Influence) which
amounted to 78.85% can be concluded that the effect of the program
implementation of publishing the company's internal media to the information
needs of respondents is good.
