Optimizing the drive parameters of a linear motor with a rolling rotor

A special linear asynchronous motor with a rolling rotor is considered. The motor is promising for use in drives for transportational manipulators operating within an enclosed volume. The advantages of such motors for operation in superhigh vacuum are shown. The construction of a target function for optimization is discussed. Calculation results are presented.
