A Fuzzy Controller of Characteristic Harmonics of Converter

In practical, the ignition angel and extinction angel of a converter often deviate the given value for various reasons,therefore this situation tends to result in the increase of characteristic harmonic magnitude in AC/DC of the converter and do great harms to the devices of power systems and increase the power consumption. In this paper, the harmonic equations of AC/DC sides are linearized and the fuzzy control theory is adopted to modify the ignition angel α and extinction angel γ in order to decrease the 5~(th) characteristic harmonics in rectifier side and the 6~(th) in inverter side. According to the NETOMAC simulation result, it shows that this method can actually control the characteristic harmonic magnitude of current and voltage within a certain boundary.
