Method and apparatus for performing constellation scrambling in a multimedia home network

The present invention provides a system and method for transmitting a plurality of network devices allows orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) transmission mode to the receiving network device. Transmitting the plurality of network devices may be configured to be transmitted using the predetermined scrambling sequence to perform a constellation scrambling symbol. Transmitting the plurality of network devices may be further configured, for example, if sent by a single transmitter for each available subcarriers such that the sequence proceeds to synchronize their use of the sequence, such that the receiving device can be viewed payload. Thus, the plurality of transmission may use only one instance descrambling sequence generator.
