The invention relates to a toilet block (1) consisting of at least one shell (2) and a core (3), and lavatory basket comprising such a toilet block (1). The casing (2) comprises a first composition and the core (3) comprises a second composition. Preferably, the first and second compositions differ by at least one of the following: different active ingredients, different concentrations of the same active ingredient, different viscosity. The shell (2) partially surrounds the core (3) and the core (3) protrudes on at least one side of the toilet block (1) as a terminal (4) to the surface and is exposed.
