Study on Treatment of Wastewater From Red Mud by Ultrafiltration-Electrodialysis Integrated Technology

The high-alkalinity wastewater generated from aluminum factory is treated by ultrafiltration-electrodialysis integrated technology.Firstly,an ultrafiltration device is used for pretreatment of alkaline wastewater to make permeation solution meet influent requirements of electrodialyzer and enrich the aluminum therein;secondly,the ultrafiltration permeation solution is adjusted by electrodialysis technology to determine the optimum technological parameters,make purified water reach the process water standard and moreover and the alkali content in effluent water at concentration end enriched to the recycled concentration,so that the purpose of resource recycle can be realized.
