INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS OF INTERNAL MODEL CONTROL

An overall review of the "Internal Model Control" approach is given. The purpose is not so much to justify the validity of this method (see References) as to relate what the practical problems that we have encountered in applying this technique to industrial processes, were. Further developments can be envisaged, to cope with the draw-backs of the method.
