Further experience with the ward acute barium meal

1965
Summary The results of 100 Ward Acute Barium Meals where the findings have been subsequently checked are reported. The proportion of correct diagnosis (81%), agrees closely with the two previously reported series. The method is recommended as a method of localizing the site of the bleeding in haematemesis and causes little discomfort to the patient.
