Fatores de risco biomecânicos em próteses implantossuportadas: revisão de literatura

Os esforcos mastigatorios aplicados sobre as proteses implantossuportadas podem comprometer a eficiencia do tratamento. Os implantes osseointegrados estao suscetiveis a diversos fatores de risco, dentre eles os de ordem biomecânica, envolvendo a compreensao das cargas ou sobrecargas oclusais aplicadas sobre todos os componentes do sistema biologico (suporte osseo-periodontal) e mecânico (componentes protese-implante). O objetivo dessa revisao de literatura foi discorrer sobre os fatores de risco de ordem biomecânica e sua influencia no sucesso das proteses sobre implante. The purpose of this review is to discuss the risk factors of order biomechanics and its influence on the success of implant prostheses. The authors concluded that the control of biomechanical loads received by the implant-prosthesis are criticaI to the longevity of the treatment, because they act directly on the prosthesis, screws, intermediate, implant and bone support.
