Analysis of Half-Wavelength Transmission Lines System State in Operation

As a long distance and large capacity AC transmission method, half-wavelength transmission technology has its unique economic and technological advantages. However, there are few previous studies and no corresponding engineering experience for reference. As a new transmission scheme, the characteristics of half-wavelength transmission lines and its influence on the system after operation need to be emphatically studied. In this paper, the mathematical model and no-load characteristics of half-wavelength transmission lines are analyzed, and a method for calculating the impact power of the half-wavelength transmission line in different voltage difference is proposed under coordinate and closed loop, and it is verified by simulation. The research results further clarify and improve the characteristics of UHV semi-wavelength transmission line accessing into system, which will provide theoretical reserve and technical guarantee for the new transmission technology of large power grid.
