Strain resistance of pure silver (99.99%) under large plastic deformations

Abstract A description of the experimental procedure for studying the strain resistance of pure silver of Ag99.99 brand is given. The technique included the stage of the wire tension diagram processing with small values of plastic deformation and the stage of the conditional yield strength measuring along the drawing route. As the results of these two series of experiments are processed, plots of the deformation resistance relation to the degree of deformation were obtained, the maximum value of the deformation degree that equal to the value of 1.92 was achieved in the experiments.
