Qualidade de vida em diabéticos e hipertensos: estudo de casos em abordagem fisioterapeutica Quality of life in diabetic and hypertensive: cases estudies in physical therapy approach

Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the impact of health education on quality of life of individuals with Diabetes Mellitus and / or Hypertension. Method: This is a study in users of a Basic Health Unit of Santa Maria. We studied women between the age group between 50 and 75 years of age. Results e final considerations: The prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and Hypertension (HBP) in the study group was 75% and 25% only retiring SAH. It was evident through the active participation of subjects, that the strategy of health education in batch mode could be an alternative to promote greater adherence to treatment of persons, in addition to allowing greater contact and involvement of professionals with the reality of health of hypertension or diabetes.
