Review on distortion control technology of gear heat treatment

Heat treatment distortion is the biggest challenge in the gears production as too many and complex factors influencing distortion,and every link in the whole gear production,even each operate action will have the potential for distortion factor.In the face of so many and complex factors,this article uses the idea of "micro analysis-macro control",as well as the principle of "mass balance-phase transformation approach" and "uniform heat transmission-low temperature difference" to analyze the heat treatment distortion mechanism and influence factors,and then to search the corresponding path for the control of distortion.Finally,some of reference processes for the distortion control were proposed.
