The micro light emitting diode display panel comprises: a substrate (1), multiple micro light emitting diodes (2) arranged on the substrate (1) in an array, a transparent packaging layer (3) for covering the multiple micro light emitting diodes (2), and a quantum-dot layer (4) disposed on the packaging layer (3). The quantum-dot layer (4) is additionally provided on the packaging layer (3) and is excited by short-wavelength light emitted from the micro light emitting diodes (2) to emit light, so that the micro light emitting diodes (2) and the quantum-dot layer (4) together form a basic display unit of the micro light emitting diode display panel. Therefore, the color gamut of the micro light emitting diode display panel is expanded, and the display quality of the micro light emitting diode display panel is improved.
