Analysis of hepatitis virus markers in patients with liver function abnormity

Objective To investigate hepatitis virus infection condition in Yi people in Liangshan area,so as to provide evidence for prevention of viral hepatitis.Methods ELISA was applied to examine hepatitis virus(including HAV,HBV,HCV,HDV,HEV,and HFV)markers in 820 patients with liver function abnormity.Statistical a- nalysis of hepatitis virus markers was applied to learn their positive trend and positive distribution trend in different sex and age groups.Results Positive rate of anti-HAV-IgM,HBsAg,anti-HDV,and anti-HEV-IgM in 820 patients with liver function abnormity was 23.78%,31.10%,4.63%,0.98% and 3.17% respectively.In different age groups,difference of anti-HAV-IgM,HBsAg,anti-HCV,or anti-HDV positive rate was significant respectively(P0.05).The highest positive rate of anti-HAV IgM,HBsAg,anti-HCV,and anti-HDV in different age groups was 57.78%,39.04%,and 2.71% respectively.There were no statistical differences of anti-HCV and anti-HEV- IgM in different age groups(P0.05).The positive rate of anti-HAV-IgM in female group was statistically higher than that in male group,while positive rate of HBsAg was statistically lower than that in male group(P0.05). There were no statistical differences of anti-HCV,anti-HDV and anti-HEV-IgM in different sex groups(P0.05). Conclusion Type A and type B hepatitis are main viral hepatitis types in Yi people in Liangshan area.To augment prevention of type A and type B hepatitis is the key to reduce incidence of viral hepatitis in Liangshan area.It is an a- vailable strategy to stress personal dietary and environmental hygiene for preventing type A and type B hepatitis. Strengthening management of blood and blood products,as well as syringes used by venous drug users can control the spread of type B and type Chepatitis.
