FS200 femtosecond and Ziemer LDV system of femtosecond flap complications

2016
Objective To analyze contrastively of corneal flap intraoperative complications using FS200 Ziemer LDV femtosecond laser, and to discusses two kinds of different energy of femtosecond laser making the characteristics of the corneal flap, and to improve operation safety. Methods The myopia patients from Shijiazhuang ophthalmic hospital undergoing LASIK surgery between January 2013 and June 2014 was divided into two groups: FS200 femtosecond laser group (group A), Ziemer LDV femtosecond laser group (group B), postoperative observation of complications were analyzed. Results By follow-up, FS200 and Ziemer LDV system of femtosecond laser disc did not appear to affect postoperative vision. Intraoperative complications included corneal stroma bubbles, conjunctival hemorrhage, incomplete incision bleeding, and irregular lobe, anterior chamber bubble, there were differences statistical significance (P 0.05, see table 2), in both groups there were no difficulty in lift valve; postoperative complications: two groups of postoperative had no central corneal flap necrosis. Haze difference compared the two groups had statistical significance (P 0.05, see table 3). Conclusions FS200 and Ziemer LDV femtosecond laser differ as a result of laser pulse energy, making corneal flap complications are also different in refractive surgery, as long as the correct understanding of and timely treatment, they are both safe and reliable.
