Mechanochemical complexation of micronized cellulose with CO3+ ions by ultrasonic treatment in order to obtain macromolecular carriers for invertase immobilization

1994
Micronized cellulose was obtained from dissolving pulp using a hydrolytic process. Complexes with Co 3+ were used as macromolecular carriers for invertase immobilization. Carrying out the experiments by using a second order, centrated, composite, rotatable design, regression equations correlating the Co 3+ content in the the complexes and the efficiency of invertase coupling with the parameters of the ultrasonic process ([Co 3+ i in the initial solution, temperature and time) were obtained. The influence of the coupling reaction poarameters (enzyme/support ratio, time) on the coupling efficiency was also studied
