Identification of Topology Change in Low Voltage Distribution Network Based on Electrical Characteristics Analysis

The identification of topology change is the key foundation to support the operation of low voltage distribution network. For this reason, this paper proposes an identification method of topology change based on the analysis of electrical characteristics. Firstly, the current data of each meter between adjacent sliding window is used to fit the original topology, and the current deviation is calculated to determine the original topology changes or not. Considering less changes of topology can not cause obvious current deviation, a K-means clustering algorithm based on voltage correlation is used to figure out whether the topology changes or not by comparing the voltage clustering results between adjacent sliding window. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively identify the topology change.
