Cistoadenoma seroso de ovario y embarazo: reporte de caso

The association of ovary tumor and pregnancy has low incidence, one of the most frequent is serous cystoadenoma that corresponds to a cystic neoplasia mono- or multi-locular whose occurrence is strange before the 25 years of age. Here is presented a case from the University Hospital “Dr. Jose Maria Vargas", San Cristobal, Tachira, Venezuela. Female, 25 years old, first pregnancy, with 13 weeks + 2 days pregnancy by time of last period, with a giant tumor in the right side ovary diagnosed by ecography. She was interned and at the 15 weeks of gestation an exploratory laparotomy examen was done observing a giant bilateral tumour of benign aspect whose biopsy reported serous cystoadenoma. The patient had an appropriate evolution, and at the 37 weeks a Caesarean operation was carried out.
