The utility model discloses an automatic electronic mousing cage. The automatic electronic mousing cage comprises a cage body, a cage door, a door closing assembly for triggering the cage door to be closed, a single-chip microcomputer, a motor and phototubes arranged on the open sides of the cage body. The single-chip microcomputer is connected with the motor and the phototubes. A shifting needle which is used for triggering the door closing assembly to act to close the cage door is arranged on a rotary shaft of the motor. A pair of phototubes is used for emitting and receiving infrared light respectively. The automatic electronic mousing cage has the mechanical and electronic dual-triggering functions, only the organic combination of mechanical components and electronic components such as the single-chip microcomputer, the motor and the phototubes is adopted, so compared with the prior art, the sensitivity of an existing mousing cage is greatly improved, and the mousing efficiency is obviously improved. The automatic electronic mousing cage is low in price, low in level, practical, simple in structure and easy and convenient to realize.
