Fall detection method

The present invention relates to a fall detection method for detecting a fall before a user collides with the floor when the user falls. Disclosed is the fall detection method comprising: a setting step of deriving a specific variable changing before a collision with the floor by using a first measurement value measured by an inertia sensor worn by a tester, and of deriving a threshold value capable of determining whether the user fell by using the specific variable; a comparison step of continuously comparing the threshold value derived in the setting step and a second measurement value of the specific variable, measured by the inertia sensor worn on the body of the user; and a determination step of determining a fall before the user collides with the floor by using a separate control unit when the second measurement value measured in the comparison step is equal to or greater than the threshold value.
