Energy absorbing system for a motor vehicle

The system (1) for absorbing energy is adapted to a motor vehicle provided with longitudinal members (2). The system (1) has an upper absorber beam (3), intended to be arranged in front of the longitudinal members (2) of the motor vehicle, a bottom absorber beam (4) intended to be arranged below the upper beam absorption (3), and at least two legs (5) providing a rigid connection between the upper beams (3) and lower (4). It further comprises a rigid beam (6) extending between the longitudinal members (2) and being directly fixed to the side members (2), the upper beam (3) being fixed in abutment against the cross-member (6).
