Síndrome escrotal agudo no traumático. La problemática del diagnÓstico diferencial

The acute scrotal syndrome appears suddenly and is characterized by pain in the scrotal content associated with signs and symptoms referred to the etiologic cause and time of evolution, and the accurate diagnosis will develop to a pharmacological or otherwise a surgical approach. It is important to differentiate a traumatic etiology from a non traumatic origin. In the present report we make a revision of patients treated with a diagnosis of non traumatic acute scrotal syndrome, with an analysis of the usefulness of imaging diagnostic methods for etiologic research.
