ICRF acceleration of beam ions in JET

Combined with ICRF and Neutral Beam heating has been studied in JET for PRF+PNBI≤16 MW. Evidence for acceleration of deuterium has been found from neutral analysis and from a study of the enhancements in DD reactivity. Fokker‐Planck calculations show reactivity enhancements for the higher beam energies and heating powers expected in future experiments.
