Simulation of Nonlinear Hydropneumatic Suspension for Comfort

In this paper, the nonlinear model of hydropneumatic suspension used in a heavy vehicle is built. Then we consider this nonlinear factor in a quarter-car model, so the simulation is closer with the actual suspension system. For simulation, the Matlab/Simulink is used. The nonlinear stiff of the suspension, the random road input and the comfort of vehicle are simulated. Finally, we compare the comfort in active suspension, hydropneumatic suspension and passive suspension, and we find the hydropneumatic suspension decrease the acceleration of body and improve the road holding ability of tire.
