The present invention discloses a basic aluminum ammonium carbonate whiskers and alumina whisker generation method taken by the liquid sodium silicate bentonite system, the bentonite is slag as the starting material, sulfuric acid was added to the bentonite ore in the reaction after filtration, the filtrate was separated and the acid leaching acid leaching cake; the filtrate was added to the pickling solution of nitric acid and iso-amyl alcohol, aqueous phase is the fraction collector aluminum salt solution; addition of urea and a surfactant to an aluminum salt solution, after the reaction the isolated, washed and dried to obtain basic aluminum ammonium carbonate whiskers; the basic aluminum ammonium carbonate whiskers obtained after calcined alumina whiskers. Alumina and silica of the present invention are required from the bentonite mineral, without employing other industrial raw materials, so that the production cost can be effectively reduced. The present invention is a high recovery rate, bentonite yield up to 90% of alumina, amorphous silica may yield more than 95%.
