Evaluation of effectiveness of programmed laparostomy in the treatment of diffuse suppurative peritonitis and peritoneal sepsis

: The results of treatment of 630 patients with peritonitis of different etiology are presented. In 170 patients with purulent peritonitis, the programmed laparostomy was used in the complex of treatment. A good immediate and long-term result was noted. Lethality reduced by 17.3%.
