The means and effect analysis of the college English teaching reading

In this paper, the vast majority of students in higher vocational colleges have no plans in extra-curricular reading,and do not pay attention to language output and the need for cooperative learning and the effectiveness of such issues.It points out that in the Higher Teaching of Reading in English, teachers should be involved in the process of the students’ extra-curricular reading, and select the appropriate methods and strategies effectively to enhance the students’ self-learning extra-curricular English reading ability . so that students would attach the importance of the language learning and cooperation in the output, promoting the effect of the upgrading of the teaching of reading.
