Author Response: Association of Time of Day When Endovascular Therapy for Stroke Starts and Functional Outcome

Aristizabal-Carmona and colleagues recognize the novel character of our study, and we thank them for their comments.1 We are aware of the hypothesis related to hemodynamic stress and cardiovascular disease as intrinsic factors, which could plausibly lead to ischemic stroke, and are elated that our findings may corroborate the cyclical aspect of stroke.2 However, the aim of our study was to determine whether an external factor, not an intrinsic one, could possibly interfere with the midterm outcome.
