Ministério Público e estratégias de efetivação do direito a saúde no Brasil

In this paper, we analyze the Parquet`s various ways and strategies of action for the right to health effectivation, with special focus on state Parquets and national bodies. The reference is an empirical research that was developed in 2012 with COPEDS and AMPASA members regarding the Parquet role on health, its limitations and challenges. The results indicate a preference more efficacy of the extrajudicial strategies, pointing to a new way of conceiving the role of legal institutions in Brazil.
