ORCHARDGRASS: Dactylis glomerata L., 'Benchmark' EFFICACY OF FOLIAR INSECTICIDES AGAINST GREENBUG, 2004

Prior to application of insecticides on 6 Apr, GB Populations averaged 19.0 per sq-ft. The treatment source of variation for GB on 9 DAT was significant (P < 0.001). At 9 DAT, GB densities in the check were significantly higher than all the insecticide treatments, and GB densities in the Sevin XLR (1.00 lb (AI)/acre) treatment were significantly higher than in the Warrior 1CS (0.030 lb (AI)/acre) treatment. By 23 DAT GB densities had declined to less than 2.0 per sq-ft in all plots and in the check were not significantly different than those in the insecticide treatments. No insecticide phytotoxicity was observed in any plot.
