Secure data transmission control method based on payment terminal full-message encryption

2013
The invention relates to an application in secure transmission control field of transaction data of bank cards, in particular to a secure data transmission control method based on payment terminal full-message encryption. The method is characterized in that a payment terminal full-message whole-process encryption method is used for guaranteeing secure transmission and processing of transaction data between payment terminals and acquiring processing systems. Directed at the problem of plaintext transmission of most of data of transactions between the current payment terminals and acquiring systems, the whole-process ciphertext transmission method for data between the payment terminals and acquiring systems through a data encryption standard (DES)/3DES algorithm is put forward, and different encryption transmission modes can be set according to characteristics of the payment terminals. The method is applicable to various payment terminals including traditional point of sale (POS) terminals and telephone POS terminals and intelligent POS terminals such as mobile phone payment terminals and tablet computer payment terminals, and the transaction data can be transmitted through channels of special telephone lines, mobile networks and the like. By means of the method, card swiping rights and interests of card holders are guaranteed, the transaction information processing safety is greatly improved, and worry of payment processing mechanisms and merchants about the secure payment information transmission is avoided.
