Lens optimization with individual eye model

2012
More particularly, the invention relates to a computer-implemented method for calculating and optimizing a spectacle lens for at least one eye of a wearer comprising the steps of: - detecting of refraction of the at least one eye (12) of the spectacle wearer; - setting an individual eye model comprising at least - the topography of a corneal anterior surface (18) of the at least one eye (12), - position and effect of a lens (20) of the eye (12) and - a retinal position (L - predetermining a first surface (14) and a second surface (16) for the to be calculated or optimizing the spectacle lens; - at least one to be calculated or determining the course of a main beam (10) by at least one visual point (i) optimizing surface (14; 16) of the spectacle lens; - setting a to the first surface (14) of the spectacle lens along the main beam (10) incident spherical wavefront (w - determining a by the action of at least the first and second surface of the lens, the anterior corneal surface (18) and the lens of the at least one eye of the spherical wave front in a vicinity of the main beam resulting wavefront (w - iteratively varying the at least one to be computed or optimized surface (14; 16) of the spectacle lens corresponding to an aberration of the resulting wavefront of a predetermined desired aberration.
