Meteorological Analysis of Icing and Galloping of Transmission Lines in Tianjin around Bohai Sea

This paper shown meteorological analysis of icing and galloping of transmission lines in Tianjin around Bohai Sea. Tianjin experienced a wide range of rain, snow and freezing weather. Affected by the cold wave and blizzard, the line dance trip occurred in some areas of Tianjin (including the dual power supply of Sinopec Tianjin LNG). The main time period of the fault is mainly distributed in the coastal areas of southeast Tianjin, involving Binhai, Dongli, and Jinnan. Based on the actual situation in Tianjin, we analyze the weather process, dancing conditions, equipment failures, and exposure issues respectively. It includes icing and galloping’s weather process analysis, analysis of galloping, equipment fault analysis and analysis of dancing characteristics.
