On the Teaching Thoughts and Strategies of Coaching Self-study

The coaching of self-study,a long existing and deeply rooted teaching wisdom,has achieved much as a teaching strategy and has been forged into a unique teaching procedure and form.With the new curriculum as the background and the call for restructuring classroom teaching,the coaching of self-study has been revitalized.The coaching of self-study is regarded as an interactive procedure.In its theoretical framework,coaching is not only a cognitive process,but also a social process,during which knowledge is not taught passively,but constructed actively.The coaching of self-study is also regarded as a process of being equal,during which classroom becomes a fully opened space for equal conversations and free inquiries.
