Assessment of Doogh River Water Quality Using Hydrochemical Methods and Agricultural Indices

2018
To investigate the water quality of the Doogh River using hydrochemical methods and agricultural indicers, a period of ten months data related to the hydrometric station of Ajan Qarah Khvajeh in 2017 was used. Based on hydrochemical study, rock and water interaction was the main reason for altering chemistry of river. Results of AqQa software showed that calcium bicarbonate was dominate type within this this period. Water quality for irrigation based on salinity hazard was medium. While, based on sodium percentage and Wilcox diagram, it has good quality and suitable for irrigation. Keywords: Water quality, Hydrochemistry, Agricultural Indices, Doogh River
