A non-spread spectrum toa Ranging Method dense multipath scenario horizon

2014
The present invention proposes a ranging method based on the arrival time (Time of Arrival, TOA) in an in-home dense multipath NLOS scenario. The spread spectrum signal receiving end and the transmitting end of the original spread spectrum signal a sliding correlation, to obtain a sliding correlation function, path search for first determining the first path delay, and then find the distance measured by the distance measuring TOA sliding correlation function. In order to improve the range accuracy, the diameter of the first decision threshold limit search is optimized to find the optimum decision threshold, the minimum average distance error. Measurement results show that under typical indoor NLOS scenario, the method of the first error is less than the average diameter of the search 24.67ns, the mean distance error is less than 7.4m.
