Avaliação de agroecossistemas: experiência prática na pós-graduação

The present work presents the objective of analyzing the sustainability of several agroecosystemsdeveloped in the IFPA Campus Castanhal, in comparison to the Forest Ecosystem withthe use of indicators. This process allowed us to verify that the natural ecosystem presentshigh sustainability and while these systems distance themselves from the natural forest environment,this capacity for self-management is diminished, being possible to draw a ranking ofsustainability where the Natural Forest Ecosystem is in the Top, followed by the SucessionalAgroforestry System, Conventional Pasture System and Conventional Corn System, whichoccupies the last place due mainly to keeping a large part of the soil uncovered / unprotectedand presenting in monoculture, which triggers a series of impacts in the middle.
