Simulation and Research of Electric Transmission System for Electric Wheel Dump Truck

The basic principles and methods of harmonic excitation were introduced,the design features of harmonic excitation synchronous generator was discussed,and the application about the harmonic excitation in the 154 t electric drive dump truck was introduced.In this paper,finite element analysis software Maxwell 2D,Simulink and Simplorer were used to simulate.The results show that the synchronous generator of harmonic excitation with AC traction motor meets the requirements of site commissioning,and has good reliability and dynamic performance.
