The invention relates to a method for producing a shell core by using a selective laser sintering technology. The method comprises the following steps: a core of a solid sand core is shelled, a transverse plane of the core is an open surface, a cavity is formed in the core; a sand mold is performed with laser sintering processing, the sand core is cleaned, secondary solidification is carried out on the sand mold, the solidified sand core is processed, a heatproof plate sheet of the transverse plane of the core is removed, and ceramsite in the cavity is dumped to obtain the shell core. According to the method, the sand core is made to the shell core, gas generated during a casting process can be effectively eliminated from an end of the sand core, and the defect problem of pore generated by casting can be solved.
