Two new iridoid glycosides from Morinda morindoides (Rubiaceae)

2017
Studies on the chemical constituents of the leaves of Morinda morindoides led to the isolation of two new iridoid glycosides: methoxymorindic acid 1 and methyl methoxymorindoate 2. The structures were elucidated through spectral studies including 2D-NMR experiments (HSQC, HMBC, COSY, and NOESY). Their complete 1H and 13C resonance assignments were also carried out.
