Control and measurement of parameters of powerful pulse electron accelerator

In this paper, we consider a system for generating pulses of triggering a thyratron for a nanosecond electron accelerator YRT-1M, operating on equipment for the radiation processing of agricultural products. We use the Single-stage asymmetrical half-bridge converter which allows to increase the frequency of the thyratron trigger pulses generator. This principle has already proved itself in spark gaps switches operating at frequencies up to 5 kHz.
