A nonwoven web comprising non-thermoplastic fibers having a length of less than 15 mm fiber, from less than 0.5% by weight of a binder and 0% to less than 5% by dry weight of the band nonwoven thermoplastic fibers, wherein the band of nonwoven material having one or more compressed areas comprising at least part of one or more of non-thermoplastic fibers, wherein at least one of the area or compressed areas is visible when wetted.
