The company is said to be good if it has employees who always work in accordance with the criteria and targets that have been set by the company, some are even able to exceed the targets given. Giving awards to the best employees is a form of company appreciation to employees and at the same time motivation for other employees to improve their performance according to the targets given by the company, as implemented by PT Nusa Trijaya Kencana (NTK). There are several criteria for evaluating employees in this company, namely: discipline, cleanliness and loyalty. At this time the employee performance appraisal process at PT Nusa Trijaya Kencana (NTK) is still done manually so that the decision support system can help companies in making decisions, and are analyzed using the profile matching method. By using the profile matching method, PT Nusa Trijaya Kencana (NTK) can make decisions in appraising employee performance according to their abilities. With a situation where the number of the best employee candidates is more than the best employee predicate position, a ranking of the best employee candidate will be carried out so that later the highest competency weight value will be obtained which has the opportunity to fill the best employee predicate.
